Skittz (Emcee and Chef) and LONEgevity (Producer and Emcee) combined in 2011 to put together a collaborative album with many Indianapolis artists. How did it happen?

Beats and Breakfast started with a conversation between Skittz and LONEgevity on twitter, and expanded into weekly event during the summer months with multiple emcees and producers. Each week, different artists would be invited to bring ingredients/food, Skittz would supervise the cooking, and LONEgevity would supervise the production. Everybody eats breakfast, writes, contributes to the song, and records by the end of the session. Every session was filmed and put turned into an episode that you can watch on YouTube.
